LEAD Hospitals Initiative
The LEAD Hospitals Initiatives are all focused on driving the TMIT mission of saving lives, saving money, and delivering value to the communities we serve. These initiatives are designed to engage leaders in hospital governance, administration, and direct care delivery.
The strategy of the set of initiatives is to focus relentlessly on driving adoption of the NQF Safe Practices for Better Healthcare by and through leaders who have core values that demand continuous delivery of high performance and safe care. TMIT has established a world-wide initiative in LEAD through the Global Patient Safety Forum. To see the initiative, click here.
The Greenlight Program is a mult-year initiative with a broad constituency of subject matter experts and hospitals, that consists of a number of collaborative efforts. The vision is to create models that are "CFO-validated" which can be used to help accelerate investment in performance improvement programs, driving adoption of the NQF Safe Practices for Better Healthcare.
TMIT, in association with a number of certifying, quality, government, and purchasing organizations, will develop the models that can be used by all hospitals. The models will be created for all of the NQF Safe Practices and updated on an annual basis, or as frequently as necessary to keep them fresh and most valuable to hospitals.
