Donate To Patient Safety
100% of donated funds will go toward patient safety initiatives. TMIT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible.

Texas Medical Institute of Technology (TMIT) is a medical research organization, founded in 1984, dedicated to accelerating performance solutions that save lives, save money, and build value in the communities we serve and ventures we undertake. Our core values drive our behaviors and in turn drive our culture. TMIT applies the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) design principles of patient-centeredness, evidence-based medicine, and systems performance improvement.

Among other initiatives, TMIT is driving production of multimedia development of stories to improve patient safety in hospitals. Certain broadcast programs are being shown globally, and are available to hospital leadership and front-line performance teams. The stories include consumers, front-line caregivers, clinical and non-clinical leaders of hospitals, and international subject matter experts. The series of "arc to action" stories are being told to inspire both community and hospital leaders to act locally.

The goal is to save lives, save money, and deliver value to the community through extraordinary impact by improving ordinary things.
