TMIT has made available unique resources for its test bed hospitals, including a Survey Simulator that allows organizations to test-drive the 2008 Leapfrog Group Quality Survey. The Survey addresses 13 of the 30 National Quality Forum (NQF) Safe Practices. Click here to begin (registration required).

High Performer Program = HP ² Survey
Participate in the High Performer Program (HP²) Release on May 16th 2008
The High Performer Program (HP²) Survey will be available for organizations that are interested in measuring their performance improvement programs for the Safe Practices for Better Healthcare.
Organizations may use the HP² Survey Simulator for internal use, and at their option report publicly on TMIT's website.

The Leapfrog Conference, "Future of Hospital Governance: Quality at the Leading Edge," was held January 2829, 2008, in Santa Monica, California. This national conference was designed to address the critical role that hospital and health system boards play in driving quality and value in American healthcare. The Pete Conrad Patient Safety Excellence Award is given to individuals and organizations involved in the pursuit of patient safety. Nancy Conrad, the widow of Pete Conrad, astronaut and ultimately a victim of medical error himself, presented the awards personally to the recipients at the TMIT High Performer Workshop following the National Quality Forum’s 8th Annual Meeting & National Policy Conference on Quality in Washington, DC, on September 28, 2007.
